By train/coach

The closest train station is Oxford Rail Station (not Oxford Parkway, as it doesn’t have a direct bus link). The S1 bus stops outside the train station in Frideswide Square.

The Gloucester Green Coach Station in Oxford has links with both London (via the Oxford Tube) and many other cities in the UK. Depending on the time of day, the S1 bus stops either inside or just outside the coach station.

By bus

Swinford Manor Farm is on the S1 bus route, a regular service to/from central Oxford. Depending on the time of day, the journey takes 15-25 minutes. The bus stop is just 100 metres from the front entrance. To plan your journey, please see the Stagecoach website.

By road

From the A40

At the Eynsham roundabout, turn onto the B4449. Continue over the first small roundabout and turn left at the next. Continue past the Talbot Inn and over the Swinford Toll Bridge (which costs 5p when open). After 500 metres turn right at the green sign which says ‘Swinford Manor Farm’.

Via Eynsham Road

Pass through Farmoor village and continue along the road for 1 mile – turn left at the green sign which says ‘Swinford Manor Farm’.

By bike

If coming by bike, we recommend the A40 rather than the Eynsham Road from Oxford, as the A40 has a cycle path.
